Leader to Leader Institute -- American Management Association Nonprofit Worker Scholarship Program
The Leader to Leader Institute, in collaboration with the American Management Association (AMA), is accepting applications for its AMA Scholarship Program to support nonprofit organizations in the social sector develop strong leaders.
Awards are about $2,000 worth of services, including one AMA management education and professional development seminar; one year individual member benefits including access to members-only website, subscriptions to e-newsletters and journals, and discount pricing on all other AMA products and services; and one year membership with the Leader to Leader Institute including subscription to Leader to Leader Journal and discounts on the Institute's publications and services. Eligible applicants are employees of a nonprofit charitable organization classified as a 501(c)(3) public charity by the Internal Revenue Service or operate under the fiscal sponsorship of a 501(c)(3); have a minimum of 3 years of work experience in the social sector; receive nomination from the Executive Director/CEO of their sponsoring organization (if the applicant is the ED/CEO, then nomination from the Board leadership); and complete the scholarship application.
