Developing Futures in Education

GE Foundation - Developing Futures in Education

The Developing Futures in Education program is aimed at raising student achievement through improved math and science programs and management capacity in schools. School districts use their grants to develop a rigorous, system-wide math and science curriculum and provide comprehensive professional development for their teachers.

Award amounts vary. The Foundation makes awards to districts in Atlanta, Georgia; Cincinnati, Ohio; Eerie, Pennsylvania; New York, New York; Jefferson County, Kentucky; and Stamford, Connecticut. All public, private, and higher education schools are eligible to apply.
