Projects and Centers Program Field Initiated Projects
The U.S. Department of Education is accepting applications for its Disability
and Rehabilitation Research Projects and Centers Program Field Initiated
Projects grant program. The purpose of the program is to support projects that
develop methods, procedures, and rehabilitation technology that maximize the
full inclusion and integration into society, employment, independent living,
family support, and economic and social self-sufficiency of individuals with
disabilities, especially individuals with the most severe disabilities.
Award amounts are $195,000-$200,000. Eligible applicants include states,
public or private agencies and organizations, including those for-profit,
institutions of higher education, and Indian tribes and tribal organizations.
Deadline: September 21, 2007
Please Note: The Center for Health and Health Care in Schools (CHHCS) does
not administer this funding opportunity.
