National Institutes of Health -- Secondary Data Analyses Based on the NICHD Study of Early Child Care and Youth Development (R01)
The National Institutes of Health is accepting applications for its Secondary Data Analyses Based on the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD) Study of Early Child Care and Youth Development (R01) grant program. The purpose of the program is to support use of the data from the NICHD Study of Early Child Care and Youth Development by people from a diverse set of careers (e.g. psychologists, sociologists, economists, statisticians, educators, policy makers, and physician scientists) in investigations into the links between child-rearing environment (e.g. families, childcare settings, schools) and child development over time.
Funding will vary; applicants must follow the NIH Research Project Grant (R01) mechanism. Eligible applicants include, but are not limited to, for-profit and nonprofit organizations, public or private institutions, units of state government, and faith-based or community-based organizations.
Deadline: February 5, 2008 (Cycle I)

The National Institutes of Health is accepting applications for its Secondary Data Analyses Based on the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD) Study of Early Child Care and Youth Development (R03) grant program. The purpose of the program is to support use of the data from the NICHD Study of Early Child Care and Youth Development by people from a diverse set of careers (e.g. psychologists, sociologists, economists, statisticians, educators, policy makers, and physician scientists) in investigations into the links between child-rearing environment (e.g. families, childcare settings, schools) and child development over time.
Award amounts will vary; applicants must follow the NIH Small Grant (R03) mechanism and submit budgets for direct costs of up to two $25,000 modules per year for up to two years. Eligible applicants include, but are not limited to, for-profit and nonprofit organizations, public or private institutions, units of state government, and faith-based or community-based organizations.
