Share Our Strength -- Great American Bake Sale Grants

Share Our Strength is accepting applications for its Great American Bake Sale grant program to support projects increasing access of low-income children to nutritious food by increasing participation in summer and after-school meal programs.

Award amounts are $1,000-$10,000. Eligible applicants are nonprofits, schools with a valid National Center for Education Statistics code or local governments that work to ensure children have access to after-school and summer meal programs.

Deadline: May 30, 2008
