John Gogian Family Foundation -- Grants for Developmentally Disabled Adults and Children, or Neglected or Abused Youth (Los Angeles County) The John Gogian Family Foundation is accepting applications for its grant program to support organizations that serve the needs of adults and children in Los Angeles County in any of the following capacities: programs for developmentally disabled adults and children involving life skills and vocational training, residential group homes or independent living, employment, day care programs, or therapeutic services; or programs for abused or neglected youth involving residential group homes, therapeutic and social services, youth emancipation services, teen homelessness, institutionalized or incarcerated youth, or domestic violence. Award amounts vary between $5,000-$20,000; average amount is $15,000, with first time grants ranging from $5,000 to $10,000. Eligible applicants are nonprofit organizations that provide services to adults and/or children in Los Angeles County.
