James Irvine Foundation -- Leadership Awards (California)

The James Irvine Foundation is accepting applications for its Leadership Awards to recognize leaders who have improved conditions in California through innovative and effective solutions.

Award amounts are $125,000 - at least $100,000 for core project support and up to $25,000 for professional development. Eligible recipients are individuals in any field (e.g education, health, housing, economic development, environment) who are leaders of nonprofit, public, or private organizations.

Deadline: January 18, 2008 (Nominations)
