United Healthcare Foundation -- Medical Expense Grants
United Healthcare Foundation’s Medical Expense Grants provide financial relief for families who have children with medical needs not covered or not fully covered by their commercial health benefit plan. The Foundation aims to fill the gap between medical costs and what commercial health benefit plans will pay for.
Applicants must be 16 years of age or younger, live in the United States, and have commercial health insurance. The amount awarded to an individual within a 12-month period is limited to either $5,000 or 85% of the fund balance, whichever amount is less. Awards to any one individual are limited to a lifetime maximum of $7,500.
