Robert Wood Johnson Foundation -- New Connections Initiative
The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF) is accepting applications for its New Connections Initiative. The purpose of this program is to support an increase in the diversity of perspectives informing RWJF programming, introduce new researchers and scholars to RWJF, and help RWJF staff measure progress towards program objectives by enabling underrepresented Junior Investigators and Senior Consultants to work with the RWJF Health Insurance Coverage, Building Human Capitol, Childhood Obesity, Pioneer, Public Health, Quality/Equality, and Vulnerable Populations teams.
Award amounts are $55,000 for Junior Investigators and $50,000 for Senior Consultants. Eligible applicants include Junior Investigators and Senior Consultants. Both types of applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents from a group historically underrepresented in research activities supported by RWJF; Junior Investigators must also have earned their doctorate or terminal degrees within the last seven years and be affiliated with or sponsored by a university or a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization that is not a 509(a) private foundation and will administer and be the recipient of the grant.
