Paul G. Allen Family Foundation -- Youth Engagement and Community Development and Social Change Grants (Pacific Northwest)
The Paul G. Allen Family Foundation aims to strengthen communities by fostering innovation, creating knowledge, and promoting social progress. The Foundation supports nonprofit organizations located in, or serving populations of, the Pacific Northwest, which includes Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon and Washington.

The Youth Engagement Program supports efforts to promote early reading proficiency, expanding opportunities for experiential learning, and involving young people in addressing community needs. The Community Development and Social Change Program supports projects that address critical community needs such as healthcare, housing, and employment.

Eligible applicants include nonprofit organizations with 501© (3) status located in, or serving populations of, the Pacific Northwest.

Deadline: July 15, 2007 (Letter of Inquiry)
