Centers for Disease Control and Prevention - Public Health Prevention Service Fellowship

The Public Health Prevention Service Fellowship is a 3-year training and service fellowship for master’s level public health professionals. The fellowship focuses on public health program management and provides experience in program planning, implementation, and evaluation through specialized hands-on training and mentorship at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and in state and local health agencies.

Fellows initially earn a salary equivalent to a GS-9 pay grade and advance to a GS-11 level. In addition, applicants must have a master’s degree in public health or a related field, at least one year of paid public health experience and a desire to gain public health management experience.
