Highmark Foundation -- Schools Challenge Grants (Pennsylvania)
The Highmark Foundation is accepting applications for its Schools Challenge Grants program. The purpose of this program is to support early intervention and preventive health projects that increase awareness, change behaviors, and create supportive environments to build lifelong healthy habits in children (ages 6-18) in the areas: nutrition education or services, physical education or activity, self-esteem, and bullying prevention.
Award amounts are up to $10,000. Eligible applicants are public, private, parochial, and charter K-12 schools within the specific Pennsylvania counties (see School Challenge FAQs at program website below).
