U.S. Department of Health and Human Services -- Science Education Drug Abuse Partnership Award (R25)
The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services is accepting applications for its Science Education Drug Abuse Partnership Award (R25) program. The purpose of the program is to support partnerships among scientists, educators, media experts, community leaders, and other interested organizations for development and evaluation of programs and materials that will increase the knowledge of the general public, health care practitioners, and other groups concerning the neuroscience and biology of drug abuse and addiction among K-12 students.
Award amounts are $250,000 annually for up to 4 years; budget requests must follow the NIH Research Education Grant (R25) mechanism. Eligible applicants include, but are not limited to, for-profit and non-profit organizations; public or private institutions; units of local, state, and tribal governments; eligible agencies of the Federal government; and faith-based or community-based organizations.
