Texas Center for the Advancement of Literacy and Learning -- The First Lady's Family Literacy Initiative for Texas

The Texas Center for the Advancement of Literacy and Learning is accepting applications for The First Lady’s Family Literacy Initiative for Texas. The purpose of this initiative is to help create family literacy programs by building on single generation literacy programs, or replicate successful programs in new populations or locations.

Award amounts are up to $50,000. Eligible applicants include non-profit and public organizations in Texas.

Deadline: March 7, 2008
