Tony Cox Community Fund HIV/AIDS Grants Submitted: 7/30/2007
Cable Positive -- Tony Cox Community Fund HIV/AIDS Grants Cable Positive is accepting applications for its Tony Cox Community Fund grant program. The purpose of the program is to encourage community-based AIDS organizations and cable outlets to partner in joint community outreach efforts, or to produce and distribute locally focused HIV/AIDS-related programs and public services announcements. Example efforts include, but are not limited to, the following: World AIDS Day, National HIV Testing Day events, and AIDS Rides/Walks. Award amounts are up to $7,000. Eligible applicants include 501(3)(c) nonprofit organizations, with special consideration given to AIDS service organizations (ASOs) and cable systems and producers partnering with ASOs. Deadline: September 17, 2007 Please Note: The Center for Health and Health Care in Schools (CHHCS) does not administer this funding opportunity.
