Youth Farm Safety Education and Certification Program

U.S. Department of Agriculture – Youth Farm Safety Education and Certification Program

The Cooperative State Research, Education, and Extension Service requests applications for the Youth Farm Safety Education and Certification Program to develop curriculum and programming focused on underserved and/or minority youth. In particular, applicants seeking to extend education programs that will fill gaps in youth farm safety education will be supported. 

An estimated 1-3 awards will be granted an amount between $50,000 and $300,000. Eligible applicants include 1890 Land-Grant Institutions (Tuskegee University and West Virginia State University), 1862 Land-Grant Colleges and Universities, and the University of the District of Columbia.
