Youth Service America -- Youth at the Center
Youth Service America, in collaboration with the U.S. Department of Justice Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention, is accepting applications for its Youth at the Center grant program. The purpose of the program is to have organizations replicate previously effective practices that engage youth (age 5-25) in addressing significant social issues, such as climate change, hunger, disease, nutrition, literacy, disaster relief, and poverty.
Award amounts are $2,000. Eligible applicants include local, state, or national organizations located in the United States that are part of a larger network or coalition that lacks a youth strategy on the larger scale.
Deadline: November 30, 2007
Please Note: The Center for Health and Health Care in Schools (CHHCS) does not administer this funding opportunity.
