CDC Reports Results from 2007 Youth Risk Behavior Survey (6/10/2008)
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, today's teens are making healthier choices than teens did 15 years ago. According to
the 2007 Youth Risk Behavior Survey (YRBS), high schoolers are reporting more healthy behaviors in 2007 than in 1991.

The 2007 National Youth Risk Behavior Survey recently released by the CDC revealed that U.S. high school students are showing overall improvements in health-related behaviors.
The Childhood Obesity Action Network report, Childhood Obesity: The Role of Health Policy, provides recommendations on actions that stakeholders in health care can take to launch an effective health care response to childhood obesity.
The Urban Institute's issue brief, Health Insurance Coverage of Young Adults: Issues and Broader Considerations, examines the root causes of uninsurance among young adults and assess the potential effects of policy options such as tax credits, Medicaid expansions and individual mandates.
