Hadassah Foundation -- Grants for Jewish Adolescent Girls in the U.S. (Deadline: 8/01/07)
The Hadassah Foundation is accepting applications for its grant program to support leadership/self-esteem projects for adolescent girls in the United States Jewish community. Funded projects will establish a replicable model program that demonstrates gender sensitivity, meets a need, and enables girls to build self-esteem, learn from their peers and adult mentors, be included in the planning and implementation of projects and draw on Jewish traditions and values as vehicles for improving self-esteem.

The Tiger Woods Foundation supports projects that provide education and youth development to underserved youth ages 5-17, particularly those that focus on youth in urban American cities.
General Mills Foundation -- Celebrating Communities of Color Grants Program (Minneapolis and St. Paul) (Deadline: 9/01/07)
The General Mills Foundation is accepting applications for its Celebrating Communities of Color grants program. The purpose of the program is to support projects by organizations located in Minneapolis and St. Paul serving communities of color that are focused on one or more of the following: 1) Social Service – strengthening families and promoting a safe, nurturing environment for children and youth, 2) Youth Nutrition and Fitness – improving nutrition and fitness behaviors, and 3) Education – emphasizing student academic achievement, particularly at the K-12 level.
The Women Helping Others Foundation -- Grants for Grassroots Charities Serving Women and Children (Deadline: 9/11/07)
The Women Helping Others Foundation is accepting applications for its grant program to support grass-roots charities serving the overlooked needs of women and children. The Foundation’s priority areas are health, education, and social services. The Foundation recognizes the value of new programs created to respond to changing needs and will consider funding projects of an original or pioneering nature within an existing organization.
