Representative McCarthy Introduces "Student to School Nurse Ratio Improvement Act of 2008"  (6/11/2008)
On June 5, 2008 Representative Carolyn McCarthy (D-NY), on behalf of herself and Representative Lois Capps (D-CA) introduced a bill, H.R. 6201, authorizing the Secretary of Health and Human Services "to make grants to eligible States for the purpose of reducing the student-to-school nurse ratio in public secondary schools, elementary schools, and kindergarten."
