Building Health Equity Together Grants (Minnesota)

The Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota Foundation is seeking grant proposals for Building Health Equity Together, a new program to support partnerships of local governments and nonprofit organizations working to achieve health equity in their community. Project partners should include two different departments in a local unit of government working with a nonprofit community-based organization to advance a common agenda related to influences on health in low-income communities. The partnership should address one or more of the factors that influence health outcomes including education, family and social support, and community safety.
Two grants of $75,000 will be awarded to select applicants. Partnerships between local governments, including tribal governments, and community-based organizations are eligible to apply.
