The purpose of the Environmental Change Mini-Grant is to help organizations to add or expand initiatives that create healthy environments to promote childhood obesity prevention. Eligible projects will make positive changes in the built environment, increase access to healthy food or physical activity resources, and support other initiatives that make healthy options easier in communities.
Multiple grants of up to $2,000 are available to select applicants. Nonprofit organizations, public and private institutions, and organizations located in eligible community areas or with a clear mission to serve low-income communities are eligible to apply.
