BlueCross and BlueShield of Kansas Foundation’s Healthy Habits for Life is offering $150,000 in grants to aid schools that promote healthy lifestyle choices. The program, which aims to help schools address childhood obesity, supports teachers and administrators who encourage healthy habits among their students.
Multiple grants of up to $1,000 are available to select applicants. School nurses, physical education instructors, health or family and consumer science teachers, principals, and other administrators are eligible to apply.
Deadline: October 15, 2012
