FirstEnergy Corp., an energy company serving Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, New Jersey, Maryland, and Virginia, is offering education grants for creative classroom projects planned for the 2012-13 school year.
Multiple grants of up to $500 will be awarded to select applicants. Educators and youth group leaders located in communities served by FirstEnergy's ten electric operating companies, or in communities where the company has generating plants or does business are eligible to apply.
