National Dairy Council and General Mills – School Breakfast Program Grants
General Mills has partnered with the National Dairy Council’s Fuel Up to Play 60 Program to expand school breakfast programs.  Schools already enrolled in the Fuel Up to Play 60 Program and wishing to expand their school breakfast can submit proposals.  Proposals should demonstrate how the school breakfast program will be expanded or improved in sustainable ways.
 
A total of $100,000 is available for grants of up to $3,000.  Eligible schools must be enrolled in the Fuel Up to Play 60 Program, have at least 500 students, and have the support of the principle, nutrition manager, and district nutrition director.

August 15, 2010
