Student Health and School Budgets Could Benefit from Updated Nutrition Standards

The Kids’ Safe & Healthful Foods Project and the Health Impact Project released a health impact assessment (HIA) recently that suggests that updating the nutrition standards for snacks and beverages sold in school may help students maintain a healthy weight and also benefit the school’s food service revenue.
