U.S. Soccer Foundation: Safe Places to Play

The U.S. Soccer Foundation is working to enable young people in underserved communities to be engaged in active and healthy lifestyles, while also promoting personal growth through coach-mentoring programs.

The Safe Places to Play program awards funding to convert abandoned courts, lots, schoolyards, etc. into state-of-the-art soccer fields and facilities.

Amount: Typically up to $50,000
