Responsibilities of the position include promoting the vision, mission, and values of the LAYC, Positive Youth Development, and the Community Schools Consortium, performing mental health assessments and diagnoses, and developing treatment plans for students. Qualifications for the position include a Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or a related field, professional licensure in the District of Columbia, fluency in English and Spanish, at least three years of experience working with at-risk youth, and at least two years of experience working in adolescent mental health and/or substance abuse treatment.

Responsibilities of the position include managing disease and chronic conditions in students, promoting and maintaining health, and responding quickly to potential health risks.
